Home Newborn Photography vs Studio: Which Should You Choose?

In London most of my families ask the same question — should we do our newborn session at home or in a studio? There's no wrong answer, but there are real differences in feel, comfort, and the kind of images you'll take away.

Home sessions: calm, personal, lifestyle

Photographing at home is intimate. You don't have to pack the car, you can feed and settle baby in familiar surroundings, and siblings feel free to be themselves. The images tell the real story of your first days together — messy, tender, and full of light.

Studio sessions: controlled, posed, timeless

A dedicated studio gives me total control over temperature, light and set-ups. It's ideal if you want traditional posed, wrapped portraits with clean, neutral backdrops. Studios also work well if your home is very dark or has limited space.
