Who we are

What we collect

• Enquiry details you send us — name, email, phone or messaging handle, due date, area and any notes about your session.
• Session information — booking dates, package chosen, address for in-home sessions and payment records.
• Photographs of you, your baby and your family taken during a session.
• Website usage data — anonymous, aggregated statistics such as pages viewed, used only to understand how the site performs.

Why we use it (lawful basis)

• Contract — to answer enquiries, arrange and deliver your session and provide your gallery.
• Legal obligation — to keep financial records for the periods required by UK tax law.
• Consent — to share your photographs publicly (portfolio, website, Instagram). Consent is entirely optional, is never a condition of booking, and can be withdrawn at any time.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or profiling cookies and does not sell data. Only essential technology needed to serve the pages and anonymous, aggregated visit statistics are used, so no tracking consent banner is required. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.

Who we share it with

We share data only with service providers that help us run the studio — website and email hosting, online gallery delivery, and payment handling. They act on our instructions and may not use your data for their own purposes. We never sell your personal data or your photographs.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Booking and payment records are kept for 6 years to meet UK accounting requirements. Edited images are archived so you can re-order prints; ask us at any time to delete your files and we will do so.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent to image sharing. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Children's data

Photographs of babies and children are only ever taken and used with the written permission of a parent or guardian.

Security

Data is stored on password-protected, encrypted services and is accessible only to Diana. Galleries are delivered over secure, private links.
